Cultural Winery - Competition Entry
Tuscany, Italy - Spring 2024

During my internship at the competition department of Arkitema K/S Aarhus i had the opertunity to be part of a research project conducted by Allan Mulvad Kristensen. This competition entry was the testbed for testing how far AI and generative design tools have come in relation to architectural work.
While the aim was for us human architects to intervene as little as possible, this generally proved quite difficult to achive especially when switching phases within the project or for an any generative tools or language models to grasp the complexity of a project such as a Cultural winery. While Allan focused more on developing the research and studying the results of different tools, the competition entry still had to be finished.
While most of the concept phase, room programming and visualising was able to be conducted by language models (chatbots) or deep-learning-models, the project as a whole needed to be pussled together by a human. This meant that the actual modelling and drawing phase of the project was, with close tutoring , conducted by myself.
